Image is everything.  That’s what they say.  Do I say that too?  Would I ever tell you that this is ta true statement?

If you are getting to know me, then you know that I don’t like to say what they always say.  In fact, I push back on a lot the world says.  Even one of my categories for the School of Identity classes is “The World Lies.”

But today.  Today is perhaps different.  Today, I want to realign what the world says and bring clarity.  You see, one of the things the Devil loves to do is to take truth and twist it.  He’s not creative, he is deceptive.

So today, I want to take something the world owns, and put it back at the feet of Jesus.  Today, we are going to redeem a phrase in Jesus name.

Image is Everything.

Pastor Bill Johnson made a great comment.  It’s a comment that I want to base our discussion on today.

You see, when the world says that “Image is everything”, it’s trying to tell you that if you don’t look good, you are no good.  It wants you to believe that how you look is more important than how you live.

But pastor Bill makes this comment. He says…

Being made in His (God’s) image gives us the privilege and responsibility to reflect His greatness to the world around us.

You are made in God’s image.  You look like Him.  This is your DNA.

But, looking like Him has it’s course.  As pastor Bill communicates so clearly, is that because you are made in God’s image, you need to be a window for the world to see Him.  This gives us purpose.  This gives us vision.  This can be a path for you today.

Your assignment.

Today, and tomorrow too.  Oh why  not, let’s just do this for life. 🙂 I want to challenge you to think about how you reflect God’s image to others.  I want you to think “It’s all about God’s Image”.  How will you let others see a picture of what God is like in your life.

When you reflect His image, you become more of you.  He is the path to identity.
